These terms apply to MacMagical’s lookup tools and information pages. MacMagical is operated by Roger Maragh. Questions about the service or these terms can be sent to hello@rogermaragh.com.
Using the reference tools
MacMagical provides model references, serial lookup results, guidance and links for research. Information can be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. A lookup result is a starting point and does not establish ownership, authenticity, warranty eligibility, a device’s condition or its installed configuration.
Confirm the model identifier, manufacturer specifications and part number before relying on a result. A model-family match alone is not sufficient to establish part compatibility. Follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions and use a qualified repair professional where appropriate.
External links and purchases
Resource and shopping links lead to services operated by others. Searches and linked results do not represent a live price quote, a stock check, a compatibility guarantee or an endorsement of a particular seller. Any purchase, payment, delivery, return or warranty arrangement is with the external provider under its terms.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and only submit device information you are entitled to use. Do not use it to misrepresent ownership, assist fraud, submit harmful code, bypass access controls or disrupt the site. Automated activity must not interfere with normal use or impose an unreasonable load.
Privacy and submissions
The Privacy Policy explains serial requests, hosting logs, analytics and external links. Use the main lookup to avoid placing a serial in a URL. Do not submit passwords, payment details or unnecessary personal information through the lookup or Help field.
When sending a correction or support question, provide only the information needed to investigate it. You remain responsible for the information you choose to submit.
Availability and responsibility
The service may change, become unavailable or stop supporting a particular lookup format. No particular result, uninterrupted availability or error-free operation is promised. Verify information before making a purchase, changing a device or attempting a repair.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, MacMagical is provided as available without a guarantee that it will meet a particular purpose. These terms do not exclude or limit any right, warranty or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable consumer rights.
Content and trademarks
MacMagical is an independent reference tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple. Apple, Mac and MacBook are trademarks of Apple Inc. Other product names, trademarks, specifications and linked content belong to their respective owners. A link does not transfer ownership of that content or grant rights in another party’s materials.
Changes and contact
Updates to these terms will be posted here with a new effective date. For a correction, concern or question, contact hello@rogermaragh.com and identify the page or lookup involved. Use a masked serial unless a full serial is necessary to explain the issue.
